Fourth Ward Aldermanic Race Results: Sophia King Will Hold Onto her Seat

Voting closed at 7:00 p.m. today in the special election for the Fourth Ward Alderman seat. Sophia King, who was appointed to fill Will Burns' seat by Mayor Rahm Emanual last year, has won.

Registration: 36,588     Turnout: 6,729 (18.39%)

Sophia King: 4,286 (63.77%)

Ebony D. Lucas: 1,179 (17.54%)

Gregory Seal Livingston: 440 (6.55%)

Marcellus H. Moore, Jr.: 410 (6.10%)

Gerald Scott McCarthy: 406 (6.04%)
